About Me

Kris is a senior Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media student at Temple University, with a concentration in television production.  His interests lie in video production, new media/digital media technology, and ancient Greek studies.  Kris enjoys shooting and editing video.  He has completed courses in various television studio productions, digital editing, sports broadcasting, talk show production, and directing & producing for television.  Kris doesn't have a set career goal as he wants to involve himself in everything that has to do with media.  Kris has professional experience working on independent projects with various companies.  Through his interest in ancient Greek he has completed intense courses in history and mythology.

Kris started his career path later than the normal college student.  In high school, Kris took classes based around video production.  After graduating high school, he was never set on going to college and spent his time working at a family owned take out pizzeria.  After volunteering for Iano Films' first feature film "The Matter With Clark" in 2005 he knew that video production was what he wanted to spend everyday doing.  In 2006 he started his career path by attending Bucks County Community College as a Digital Cinema/Video Production Major.  Through the hands-on and theory courses he gained a strong knowledge of the field.  His work was focused around film and television production.  At BCCC Kris joined Phi Theta Kappa, a honor society for two year colleges.  After graduating with a 3.63 GPA in 2010 Kris decided to attend Temple University over other offers.  By majoring in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media he enhanced his knowledge of video production for both television and web.  He is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.  A by invitation only membership for students in the top 15% academically in their school.  In Fall 2012, Kris directed the talk show "I Love My Job" that will air on TUTV.  TUTV is Temple University's TV channel that airs in the Philadelphia area.  In Spring 2012, he will be creating exclusive content for TUTV under supervision of General Manager Paul Gluck.
